These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made through
galvanicworks.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Products
2.1 Product Description
We make every effort to describe our products accurately. Product
images are for illustration purposes; minor variations in colour or
appearance may occur between images and delivered products.
Product specifications, features, compatibility information and the
contents of each package are set out on the relevant product page. If
you have questions about a product before ordering, contact us at
info@galvanicworks.com.
2.2 Pre-Order Specific Terms
These terms apply to any order placed before commercial availability
of the relevant product (a “pre-order”). Pre-orders are identified as
such on the product page and at checkout.
2.2.1 Estimated Delivery Date
Each pre-order has an estimated dispatch date shown on the product
page and in your order confirmation email. This dispatch date is the
“different delivery date agreed at checkout” within the meaning of
Article 66 bis LGDCU and replaces the 30-day default delivery period set
out in §5.1 for pre-orders only.
2.2.2 Payment at Order
Full payment (purchase price plus applicable VAT and delivery costs)
is taken at the time the pre-order is placed. The price charged is the
price displayed at the time you place your order; we will not
retroactively change the price for completed pre-orders, and any future
price increase between order date and dispatch will not be passed on to
you.
2.2.3 Cancellation Before
Dispatch
You may cancel a pre-order at any time before dispatch, for any
reason, by emailing info@galvanicworks.com with your order number. We
will refund the full amount paid (purchase price + VAT + delivery costs)
within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request,
using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. No
fee applies.
This cancellation right is in addition to your statutory right of
withdrawal under §6, which applies after delivery.
2.2.4 Delivery Slippage
If the estimated dispatch date slips by more than 30 days, we will
notify pre-order buyers by email and offer the option to either wait for
the revised dispatch date or cancel the order for a full refund (within
14 days of cancellation, per §2.2.3).
3. Pricing
- All prices on galvanicworks.com are displayed in euros (€)
- EU customers: Prices are shown exclusive of VAT.
Applicable VAT (21% for Spain, or the rate of your EU country for
intra-community sales) is calculated and displayed at checkout before
you confirm your order - UK customers: Prices exclude UK VAT and import
duty. These are payable on delivery and are the buyer’s
responsibility - US and other non-EU customers: Prices exclude all
local taxes, customs duties, and import fees. These are payable on
delivery and are the buyer’s responsibility - We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price charged
is the price displayed at the time you place your order
3.1 FCA Pricing (Incoterms 2020
FCA)
All prices published on galvanicworks.com are FCA Galvanic
Works S.L., Polígono parcela 691, 3, 07430 Llubí, Illes Balears,
Spain (Incoterms 2020). The published price covers the goods
made available, loaded, and export-cleared at our premises, and does
not include:
- Shipping, freight, or carrier charges from our premises to the
destination - Insurance during transit
- Import duties, customs fees, and destination-country taxes
- Any unloading, handling, or last-mile fees the buyer or its carrier
may incur at destination
Where shipping is arranged by us as a separate, optional service on
the buyer’s behalf, the shipping cost is calculated and displayed at
checkout before you confirm your order.
B2C consumer carve-out. For sales to consumers
within the European Union, the protections of Real Decreto Legislativo
1/2007 (in particular Article 66 ter LGDCU) prevail over the FCA
allocation of transit risk: Galvanic Works bears the risk of loss or
damage in transit until you (or a third party designated by you, other
than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods (see §5.4). The
FCA basis governs the scope of the published price
only, not the allocation of consumer risk.
4. Ordering Process
In compliance with Article 27 of the LSSI-CE and Article 98 of the
LGDCU:
- Select products and add them to your basket
- Review your basket — check quantities, prices, and
delivery costs. You can correct any errors before proceeding - Enter delivery and billing information
- Select payment method
- Review your complete order — a summary page shows
all items, total price including taxes and delivery, and these Terms of
Sale - Confirm your order by clicking the order button.
Clicking the order button constitutes a binding offer to purchase with
an obligation to pay - Receive order confirmation — we will send an email
confirming receipt of your order within 24 hours. This confirmation
constitutes acceptance of your order and formation of the contract
Payment is processed at the time of order. We accept payment by
credit card and debit card via Revolut. No surcharges apply for any
payment method.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery Times
- EU: Estimated 5-10 business days from dispatch
- UK: Estimated 7-14 business days from dispatch
- US and rest of world: Estimated 10-20 business days
from dispatch
These are estimates. The maximum legal delivery period is 30
calendar days from the date of your order, unless a different
delivery date was agreed at checkout (Article 66 bis LGDCU). For
pre-orders, the agreed dispatch date is the estimated dispatch date
shown on the product page and in your order confirmation — see
§2.2.1.
5.2 Dispatch Notification
We will notify you by email when your order has been dispatched,
including tracking information where available.
5.3 Late Delivery
If we do not deliver within the agreed period, you may contact us to
request delivery within an additional reasonable period. If we still
fail to deliver, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund
within 14 days (Article 66 bis LGDCU).
5.4 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or a person you have
designated, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the
goods. Galvanic Works bears the risk during transit (Article 66 ter
LGDCU). This consumer-protection rule prevails over the FCA pricing
basis set out in §3.1, which governs the scope of the published price
only.
5.5 Customs and Import Duties
For deliveries outside the EU, the buyer is responsible for all
customs duties, import taxes, and local fees. Galvanic Works has no
control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Contact your
local customs office for information before ordering.
6. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Articles 102-108 of Real Decreto Legislativo
1/2007 (LGDCU) and Directive 2011/83/EU:
6.1 Your Right
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14
calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period
expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated
by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the
goods.
6.2 How to Exercise Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your
decision by an unequivocal statement. You may:
- Email: info@galvanicworks.com — stating your name,
order number, and that you wish to withdraw - Use the model withdrawal form provided below (not
obligatory)
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your
communication before the 14-day period has expired.
6.3 Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract:
- We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard
delivery costs (but not any supplementary costs arising from choosing a
delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery) - Reimbursement will be made within 14 days from the
day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold the
refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied
evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest - We will use the same payment method you used for the original
transaction. No fees will be charged for the reimbursement - You must send back the goods within 14 days from
the day you communicate your withdrawal. The direct cost of returning
the goods is your responsibility; for goods that cannot be returned by
normal post (Art. 97.1.j LGDCU), we estimate the return cost at
approximately €20–€60 for shipments within the EU and
€40–€150 for shipments from outside the EU, depending
on origin, weight, dimensions, and carrier chosen. Final cost is set by
the carrier you select - You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from
handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature,
characteristics, and functioning
6.4 Condition of Returned
Goods
You may unbox and inspect the product, including powering it on to
verify functionality. However, if the product shows signs of use beyond
what is necessary for inspection (installation marks, damaged cables,
water exposure, firmware modifications), we may apply a proportional
reduction to the refund.
6.5 Model Withdrawal Form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from
the contract)
To: Galvanic Works S.L., Polígono parcela 691, 3, 07430 Llubí, Illes
Balears, Spain — info@galvanicworks.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the
following goods:
- Order number: _______________
- Ordered on: _______________
- Received on: _______________
- Name of consumer: _______________
- Address of consumer: _______________
- Date: _______________
- Signature (only if paper form): _______________
6.6 Important Note
If we fail to inform you of your right of withdrawal, the withdrawal
period extends to 12 months from the end of the initial
14-day period (Article 105 LGDCU).
7. Legal Guarantee of
Conformity
In accordance with Articles 114-127 of the LGDCU, as amended by Real
Decreto-Ley 7/2021 transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771:
7.1 Duration
All products sold by Galvanic Works are covered by a 3-year
legal guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery. This
is a legal right and cannot be waived.
7.2 What Is Covered
The guarantee covers any lack of conformity that exists at the time
of delivery. A product lacks conformity if it:
- Does not match the description, type, quantity, and quality
specified in the contract - Is not fit for the purposes for which products of the same type
would normally be used - Does not possess the qualities and features that are normal for
products of the same type and that you may reasonably expect - Does not match any sample or model made available before the
contract was concluded
7.3 Burden of Proof
During the first 2 years, any lack of conformity
that becomes apparent is presumed to have existed at the time of
delivery. During the third year, you must demonstrate that the lack of
conformity existed at delivery.
7.4 Remedies
If a lack of conformity is established, the following remedies are
available (Articles 118–119 LGDCU):
- Repair or replacement — you may choose between
repair and replacement, unless your chosen option is impossible or
imposes disproportionate costs on us. Repair or replacement is free of
charge, must be carried out within a reasonable time, and without
significant inconvenience to you. - Price reduction or contract
termination with full refund — you may choose either of these
remedies when any of the following applies: repair or replacement is
impossible or has not been carried out, has not been completed in a
reasonable time, has been carried out with significant inconvenience to
you, we have declared we will not bring the goods into conformity, or
the lack of conformity is of such a serious nature as to justify
immediate termination. You may not terminate the contract if the lack of
conformity is minor; we bear the burden of proving that the lack of
conformity is minor.
7.5 How to Claim
To make a guarantee claim, email info@galvanicworks.com with: – Your
order number – A description of the lack of conformity – Photos or video
if relevant
We will respond within 5 business days with next steps.
7.6 Reporting Period
You should notify us of any lack of conformity within 2
months of becoming aware of it (Article 123 LGDCU). Missing
this deadline does not cause you to lose your statutory
rights under §7; however, you may be responsible for any additional
damages directly caused by the delay in notification.
7.7 Commercial Warranty
If Galvanic Works offers any additional commercial warranty beyond
the legal guarantee, it will be documented separately and will clearly
state that it is in addition to — and does not replace or limit — your
legal rights under the 3-year guarantee.
7.8 Software and Firmware
Updates
For any product that incorporates digital elements — firmware,
embedded software, or an accompanying mobile or desktop application —
Galvanic Works will supply the updates (including security updates) that
are necessary to keep the product in conformity for the period that the
consumer may reasonably expect, in accordance with Article 126
LGDCU (transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771 and, where relevant,
Directive (EU) 2019/770).
The specific update commitment for each product — minimum supported
period, scope of supported features, end-of-support date — is published
on the relevant product page and forms part of the pre-contractual
information for that product. Where the product page does not state a
longer period, the legal minimum under Article 126 LGDCU applies.
You are responsible for installing updates we make available; if you
choose not to install an update we have supplied within a reasonable
time, we are not liable for a lack of conformity resulting solely from
that omission, provided we informed you that the update was available
and of the consequences of not installing it (Article 126.4 LGDCU).
7.9 Spare Parts and Repair
Availability
As producer of the products we sell under our own brand, Galvanic
Works guarantees the existence of an adequate technical-assistance
service and the availability of spare parts for a minimum of 10
years from the date the relevant product ceases to be
manufactured, in accordance with Article 127 bis
LGDCU.
This commitment applies to the spare parts that we identify as
serviceable for the product. It does not extend to consumable items (for
example, batteries or cables that have reached the end of their service
life through normal use) beyond the period of the legal guarantee of
conformity set out in §7. Charges for spare parts and out-of-guarantee
repairs are at our then-current published rates.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Consumer Sales (B2C)
For sales to consumers, Galvanic Works’ liability is governed
exclusively by mandatory Spanish and European Union consumer protection
law (in particular RDL 1/2007 LGDCU and Directive (EU) 2019/771).
Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes, limits, or modifies any right
granted to consumers by mandatory law, including the legal guarantee of
conformity (§7), the right of withdrawal (§6), liability for transit
risk (§5.4), or any other non-waivable right.
8.2 Non-Consumer Sales (B2B)
For sales to buyers acting in the course of a business, profession,
or trade (i.e. not consumers in the sense of Art. 3 LGDCU), and to the
maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Galvanic Works’ total aggregate liability for any claim arising from
or related to a product purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of
the product - Galvanic Works shall not be liable for indirect, incidental,
consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of
profits, loss of data, loss of business, or loss of use - Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or
personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, gross negligence,
wilful misconduct, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded
under applicable law
9. Complaints and Dispute
Resolution
9.1 Contact Us First
If you have a complaint about a product or your order, please contact
us at info@galvanicworks.com. We will do our best to resolve the issue
directly.
9.2 Consumer Arbitration
You have the right to submit disputes to the Sistema Arbitral
de Consumo (consumer arbitration system). The relevant body is
the Junta Arbitral de Consumo de les Illes Balears. Consumer arbitration
is free for the consumer.
9.3 EU Online Dispute
Resolution
For EU consumers, the European Commission previously provided an
online dispute resolution platform under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013.
That platform was phased out by Regulation (EU)
2024/3228 of 19 December 2024 and ceased operations on
20 July 2025. Consumer arbitration (§9.2) and the
courts (§10) remain the available routes.
10. Applicable Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by Spanish law, in particular:
- Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (LGDCU) — consumer protection
- Ley 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) — e-commerce
- Ley 7/1998 (LCGC) — general contract conditions
Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals of Palma
de Mallorca, Illes Balears, Spain. This does not affect your right as a
consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence,
as guaranteed by Regulation (EU) 1215/2012.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Sale to reflect changes in our business,
products, or legal requirements. The version in effect at the time you
place your order applies to that order. We will not change terms
retroactively for completed orders.

In the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity, omission, or conflict
